My sister and I are currently watching the new anime Soul Eater and this is greatest Soul we’ve seen to date. The cosplayer managed to capture Soul’s expression and pose flawlessly. The colours chosen for the clothing are crisp and bright. What's more, notice how the red contacts and nicely styled wig really complete the outfit. Oh, and credit must be given to the photographer since the angle of this shot is wonderful. This cosplay wins.

Tip: If you can't find the material, don't have enough money or just want to put a cool spin on your favorite character, you can cosplay them in normal clothes - street wear. Just be sure to nail the character's hairstyle, eye colour, and perhaps add something else to the outfit (especially if your character has a trademark, ex. a hat, glasses, bracelets, etc.) The risky thing about cosplaying a character in street wear is that you run the risk of people not being able to recognize which character you're cosplaying, or worse that you are even cosplaying at all! =0 If someone has to ask you "who are you supposed to be?" that's an EPIC FAIL. ;-; So choose your character and outfits wisely. This cosplayer did a great job!

Death the Kid, Liz, and Patty

We love this picture of Death the Kid (who also cosplayed Soul) Patty and Liz, right down to Kid’s crinkled fingers! This cosplay photo is fun to look at and has a manga-esque feel to it. Once again excellent portrayal of characters. And thank you Death the Kid cosplayer for getting Kid's hair right! I can't tell you the amount of Kid cosplays that failed because the hair was done badly. Heck, I've seen people use paper as the white shine in his hair, paper for God's sake! Ugh.

Black Star

Wow! Such a cute Black Star, and the Tsubaki is perfect too. Black star is demonstrating his strength as he punches through a door while Tsubaki looks on nervously.

Their costumes look great and their wigs were styled fantastically. I loves it.

I'm crazy about the lighting used for this photo and the following one. Even if your cosplay isn't the "greatest" it can still "win" if you nail the camera angle, quality and lighting.

Greatest Stein cosplay I've seen so far. I bet this really is what he would look like in real life!

Maybe I spoke too soon. This Stein cosplay floored me. The lighting is so perfect, so is his stance. Oh, oh and the quality of the weapon, and wig is just O_O wow.

So, I'm quite a fan of this cosplayer. So sue me. >.<

I find Death Scythe's peace sign in the background very cute. And the Stein is perfection as per usual.

You know how in most group cosplays there's usually one person who's costume is much worst than the others, and kinda ruins the entire group cosplay? ... Well, that's not the case here. This is a great group shot! Everyone looks awesome. Together this cosplay group epically WINS.
