Miscellaneous Cosplay means cosplays from many different anime series. Admittedly, we don’t know what anime, manga, or videogame all these characters are from! ;_;! But what we do know is that whatever they were trying to do, they succeeded. xD

Miscellaneous #1

This cosplay is all about the color scheme, the tattoos and those gorgeous angel wings. The lighting is perfect and their skin looks flawless. Also, if you look closely you can see that this cosplayer is wearing bluish contacts and a white pearl rosary, little details like these can go a long way. All in all, we find this miscellaneous cosplay visually stunning and downright beautiful.

Oh, did I mention this cosplayer is male? Yes, you read that correctly. That’s a man up there! But geez, he can certainly pull off a dress well, eh? xD

Tips:

I believe a body paint or theater makeup was used to create the ethereal whiteness of the cosplayer's skin. A brand that many visual kei cosplayers swear by is Ben Nye theater makeup in Clown White. Or to lighten skin without the overdramatic look of Clown White, Manic Panic's white foundation and powder is also quite good.

The quality of a wig is so important. A bad wig can really ruin a costume that took you months to make or that cost a lot of money. If your costume calls for a wig, invest time into finding a good wig for cosplay. Remember, it’s not Halloween so the $14.99 wig from Party City simply won’t cut it. We suggest finding reputable sites online that sell cosplay wigs.

Does Arisa Mizuhara need introduction anymore? I didn't think so. Anyway here she is again looking very pretty in a simple maid cosplay outfit.

Secret tip: You may have noticed how large and bright Arisa's eyes are in her photos. She and many cosplayers, as well as actors/actresses in asian dramas, particularly Korean dramas, use circle lens to make their eyes look bigger, more doll-like and anime-esque. Use contacts to and your overall cosplay will be so much better.

To decrease the risk of eye infections associated with contact lenses make sure to take proper care of them. Wash your hands before and after each use, and throw them away after they expire! Some expire within a year, but certain types like circle lenses will expire within months, so read the label or risk the blindness.

While you admire their costumes, take the time to notice the materials they use for their costumes, the way they chose to recreate anime hair. Think about what makes their costumes so visually appealing and how can you incorporate it into your own. No, this isn’t school. Thank god! But I’d still suggest you take notes so you don’t fail. Hm, maybe this is cosplay school . . .

There's something really cool about seeing great cosplayers that are not Japanese. Yes, the Japanese pretty much own cosplay in regards to successfulness. But they're not the only ones. These gems are a cosplay group from Russia. They're all so photogenic! Well-made costumes, love the scenery, expressions, everything is perfect. ;_;
