Plot: It’s the year 2071 AD. The old nation-states have collasped, and people of all races and ethnicities have been driven out of their homes on Earth, and consequently moved to the stars. The true meaning of concepts like justice, freedom, violence and love have long since been forgotten and modified. New rules have been created in place of the old virtues and bounty hunters are not uncommon.

The story focuses upon Spike, a drifter and his friend Jet, a retired cop cyborg who start a bounty hunting organization. They used their converted ship “The Bebop” to search for criminals across the galaxy with bounties over their heads and collect the earnings. Along the way they meet many interesting characters like Ed, a child hacker prodigy, a sexy femme fatale who suffers from amnesia, Faye Valentine, and an unusually smart canine called Ein.
